To Breathe or Not to Breathe....

That is the question!

So tell me:

Do you let your bed breathe or make it before you leave the house?

Returning home from work to see my bed made makes the room feel neat which makes me feel happy so I always ensure it's made before I head to work which seems to be the "right" thing to do according to half of the lifestyle guru's out there. The only problem is the other half say you should let your bed air for at least an hour before making it again

I'm lucky if I have half an hour between waking and walking out the door so what am I to do?!

I'd make it and then you have the knowledge that no matter how bad your day you have a prettily made bed to crawl back into when you get home!XX

yes, this is something I do every day, but it's different for me, because I come home from the school run and then make the beds, so they don't stay that way for the entire day. I can't stand an unmade bed, and it's a little rule that I have that it HAS to be made in the morning.

But I would say to you that if you can, do it. Just pull everything back while you have brekkie & get ready, then make it just before you go. Should be enough time for it to air.

checked out music magpie yesterday (thanks for the info!), and am going to flog some unwanted dvds. how do you select the evoucher option? I want that rather than a cheque, so do they give you the option once they recieve goods, or is there somewhere on my account that I have to select?

time I was off. Have a fab day xxx

Just imagine if you brought "Mr Right" home in the afternoon and headed straight for the bedroom and your bed wasn't made!!! lol. After I'm dressed I pull up the blind and make the bed then I know that's at least one room tidy, Lucey x

I've never heard this before, but I must admit I have to make the bed as soon as I get up, because if not I feel awful leaving it unmade all day long! xxx

I could never leave my bed unmade.... I worry that I may have an accident & someone would have to go to my house & see a messy bed!!! Weirdo!
I pull the duvet back, have breakie & shower then make it before work. On a day off I leave it for longer.
How often do you change your bed? I change once a week but I'm thinking could I go longer....save money on water & electric.... would that be too dirty??!! xx

Apparently you're meant to leave the covers pulled back for at least 20 mins when you get up to help keep the bed bugs at bay, as they love warmth so really it is a cooling down exercise.
I leave mine stripped back until I'm about to leave the house, be that half an hour or a couple of hours.

i'd make it as soon as hubby goes to work coz i agree with you, at the end of the day when ur tired and sleepy, it's nice to crawl into already made up bed!

I make my bed every morning even if I am running late, i hate coming home to an unmade bed. It finishes the room off and makes it look inviting coming home to a nicely made bed.

I make my bed as soon as I get out of it, though I have heard that you should let it breathe.
