How Much?

The painting in my flat has been done with the exception of the ceiling which I'll tackle at the weekend - next time I mentioned redecorating talk me out of it please!

We all know decorating isn't cheap but I can't believe I've just spent £40 on 4 new plug & light switch plates!

It's going to be interesting if I decide to change them myself - fingers crossed I don't electrocute myself!

The finishing touches often cost more than the decorating itself, worth it though. Please be careful with the electrics.

When we decorated our living room I remember having a similar situation, but then again the finishing touches are often the first seen! xxx

I agree its the little things that tie it all in. You can change them easily yourself I bet.

They look So much nicer than plastic ones though! But keeping them clean is fun- little tip-a tiny amount of oil-olive oil or whatever is great on anything with a shiny surface!
Be careful..

Victoria, my daughter Megan changed out her switchplates and towel bars in the bath to polished nickel and I couldn't believe how much it cost!! She did it herself (did electrocute herself) and they look really beautiful. So I guess you just have to think how great they will look!!
